On 1 October, NHS England announced that flu and COVID-19 vaccines were now available to eligible people. The vaccines will help protect those most vulnerable amid new variants circulating this year.
Data shows early signs of an increase in flu cases. COVID-19 cases have also been steadily increasing for weeks, with hospitalisations increasing.
Those eligible can book a vaccination appointment via the NHS App, the NHS website, through their local GP practice, or by calling 119.
