DigiGo on-demand transport comes to the Hedingham area 26th July

DaRT299/DaRT3 Services Transition to DigiGo from 26 July 2026

From Sunday 26 July 2026, DigiGo will be replacing the existing DaRT3 and DaRT299 services following the outcome of Essex County Council’s Bus Network Consultation. The changes are designed to provide an enhanced, more flexible, demand-responsive public transport service to access key destinations and interchanges in your area.
DigiGo is Essex County Council’s shared public transport service, offering flexible travel without fixed routes or timetables. Rather than travelling to traditional bus stops, passengers are picked up from convenient virtual stops located throughout the service area. Journeys can be made from A to B within the DigiGo zones or to key TravelEssex Connect Points, where passengers can continue their journey further afield. In the new Travel Zones, the service will operate 7am-10pm, Monday to Sunday (excluding bank holidays).
DigiGo are offering FREE travel for all passengers until 31 August 2026 in its new areas. Whether you’re commuting, shopping, visiting friends or exploring somewhere new, now’s the perfect time to give the service a try – completely free of charge.DiGigo on-demand transport new operating area map
