Braintree District Council has published a proposed schedule for future Local Plan Sub Committee meetings scheduled to take place in May to September 2025 in advance of the Regulation 18 consultation. These meetings will consider sites put forward for development following the call for sites exercise. Call for Sites maps for the village and the Castle Hedingham Parish Council responses can be found on our Planning Applications page
Castle Hedingham is currently scheduled to be discussed at a meeting on Thursday 12th June 2025 although the schedule may be subject to change. It is recommended that anyone following sites in a particular area consults the published agenda nearer the time of the meeting
Sites for consideration at the meeting on Thursday 12th June:
Alphamstone, Ashen, Belchamp Walter Birdbrook, Black Notley, Bradwell, Bulmer/Bulmer Tye, Bures Hamlet, Castle Hedingham, Colne Engaine, Cressing, other villages with no map changes required
