Between Tuesday 23rd and Thursday 25th June 2026, the Parish Council storage container behind the Memorial Hall was broken into and various items of Village Maintenance equipment and hand tools stolen, including strimmers, hedge cutters, a leaf blower and wheelbarrow. This has been reported to Essex Police and residents are asked to pass on any relevant information or evidence to them quoting crime number 42/99305/26
